Gillian will lead an 11 mile walk starting from the National Trust main car park at Wimpole Hall, SG8 0BW.   There’s a charge here for non NT members.  The morning walk is via Toft to Bourn, just under 6.5, and the afternoon returns via Oliver Cromwell’s Hole to Wimpole 4.5 or so.    So a nice easy winter walk post Christmas.    But plenty of mud if it’s wet, so bring sticks if so.    Most of the fields can be walked around rather than across and if the notorious one is too ghastly we can do that bit by road instead.
