This walk will start from  the Grafham Water Centre car park, West Perry, near PE28 0BX; GR TL 144672 [charge £3.50 for the day].  From the Buckden roundabout on the A1, take the 1^st exit (B661). After approximately three miles, pass through West Perry. The large car park is signed on the right, almost at the end of the village.

Our route [6.5 miles am, 6 miles pm] will start out along Grafham Water and then meander through the north Cambridgeshire countryside to approach Kimbolton from the north.  In the afternoon, we undulate through open countryside towards the lake and finally track along the lakeside.

Lunch is at the New Sun Inn, Kimbolton, which offers a wide range of filled jacket potatoes,  sandwiches, wraps etc but not guaranteed soup.
