Our walk will explore the undulating farmland and woodlands along and inland of the south coast of Grafham Water, starting from The Wheatsheaf, West Perry, PE28 0BX;  grid ref TL148668 (Explorer 225). Easy underfoot throughout with only one short field crossing.

Route am (7 miles): through undulating farmland to the west of West Perry looping along the southern shore of Grafham Water through woodland and a short nature trail.

Route pm (5.5 miles):  starting out eastwards along the lake then circling through pleasant rural landscape via Three Shires Way.

Directions: Best approached via A14 and A1(S). From the Buckden Roundabout on the A1, take the 1^st exit (B661).  The pub is on the left approximately three miles from the roundabout.
If A14 problematic take A428 to St Neots rdbt – take B1428 (towards St Neots), then right (B1041) past Little Paxton to join the A1(N) just north of Little Paxton.  Take 1^st exit (B661) at the Buckden rdbt.

Please park in the pub car park in the first instance.  Pub should be open when we arrive so we can order lunch and use facilities.
