Start of walk: car park in School Lane, Toft, opposite The People’s Hall. As you come in to Toft from the Cambridge side, turn left down School Lane then almost immediately right into the signposted car park (free parking). Postcode CB23 2SA.

General information: the walk is mainly fields and tracks near or through Comberton, Barton, Coton and Hardwick. The walk skirts the Barton Road military firing range. There are fine views back across Cambridge from two high points, weather permitting. There are two stretches of pavement alongside a road and we also need to pass down the side of three fields where there may be horses.
