Wednesday ‘A’ walk, 23rd April, 10:00 am, Weston, Herts. Distance: 12 miles, (7 morning, 5 afternoon).

Start: Weston Business Park car park, SG4 7AX, GR 258300, Explorer map 193, Landranger 166. (no facilities)

Travel: By-pass Baldock through the tunnel on the A505 westward from Royston, bear left at the next roundabout and take the next turning left (approx 500 yds) signposted to Graveley. Again, after approx 250 yds, turn off left on the bend, signed to Weston. This lane will take you directly into the village centre where a right turn at the small triangular green will take you into the Weston Business Park, where we’ve been given special permission to park.

Walk: From Weston the route will take the Hertfordshire and Icknield Way paths via Wallington to Rushden, and return via Luffenhall and Hall Green.

It is expected the walk will closely encounter young lambs and calves. As such it is considered inappropriate for dogs.
