The walk starts from Swan Meadow car park, Saffron Walden CB10 1BX. From Cambridge enter Saffron Walden on the B184. Go down Windmill Hill and as you enter Saffron Walden turn right into New Pond Lane following signs to the car park. Car park charges £2.50 for 6 hours, £3.50 for 10 hours. We may be back by 4pm  but to be on the safe side you might want to pay the extra £1. 

The morning walk is via Debden, the afternoon via Newport and Wendens Ambo. 13 miles.

Lunch will be at the Fleur de Lys, Widdington
