The walk is a figure of 8 from the Moon and Stars pub in Mill End, Rushden, Herts, SG9 0TA, grid ref. 302 317. The morning is 7 miles via Stocking Hill, Whitehall and Southern Green; the afternoon is 5 miles via Roe Green, Redhill and Shaw Green.

To get to Rushden take the A505 from Royston towards Baldock and turn left for Redhill and Rushden. Park at the pub (or on the road if not eating or drinking there) where we can order lunch and use the facilities.

Beware, there is another Mill End nearby at Sandon, and Google Maps sometimes gets confused!
