To get to Hilton, take the A428 west from Cambridge. At the first roundabout, turn right on the A1198 towards Huntingdon. After 1 mile, go round Papworth Everard, turning left at the first roundabout and right at the second roundabout. At the third roundabout take the second exit on B1040 towards St Ives, signposted to Hilton. Drive about 1.8 mile to enter the village, continue past Church End (as ford may be too deep). Turn right on High Street and then bear right on Grove End, at the end of which is the village hall (Victorian red brick building) on the right and the grass maze on the left.

The walk starts from Hilton and takes in the villages of Graveley, Yelling and Papworth St Agnes. Lunch is at the Three Horseshoes at Graveley.
