The start of the walk and parking are at Harston Recreation Ground, The Limes. Harston CB22 7QT. Enter Harston on the A10. Drive through the village to the High Street and look  for a sign on the right for the recreation ground and community orchard. Turn left as indicated into The Limes where there is a second sign. Follow the road to the right. After this turn left and the recreation ground is at the end of the cul de sac. Access is through the metal gates. Parking is on the left.

The walk is 13-14 miles: morning 8-9 miles, the remainder in the afternoon.
