On 16 July Alex will lead a figure of eight from Glemsford.

Morning Glemsford to Long Melford  ~ 7 miles   Afternoon Glemsford to Cavendish  4.8 miles  ~12 miles

Directions – A1307 to Haverhill, Haverhill bypass and, after Sturmer (at Baythorn End) you will see the left turn to Clare on the A1092.  The road goes through Stoke by Clare, Clare.  The road turns bends right in Clare towards Cavendish and Long Melford.   About 2 miles after Cavendish there is a left turn to Glemsford.  The Black Lion is about 2 miles on the right just after the green and nearly opposite the school.  Meet there.

Parking – those having lunch can park in the Black Lion Glemsford.  The car park is relatively small so we won’t  all fit.   There is plenty of parking on the road nearby and by the green.
