Wednesday ‘A’ 02 April 2014, 10:00a.m., Ely

Our walk on 02 April will start from the Cathedral car park (Barton Road, Ely – free parking). GR TL537800; CB7 4JE.

Take the A10 from Cambridge to the first Ely roundabout, just south of Ely. Take 2nd exit along Cambridge Road towards city centre. After 1km turn right, signed ‘Cathedral Car Park’. Follow signs to the car park, bearing right after ~300m.

Our route [7.5 miles am, 5 miles pm]: Ely golf course – Little Thetford –Great Ouse – Stretham Old Engine – Stretham – Burying Way –Great Ouse – Ely. Mainly well trodden paths with a few up & over stiles!

Lunch is at the Red Lion, Stretham. Offers a range of light snacks, sandwiches and salads. Please consume own food in the Jubilee Gardens, which we will pass en-route to the pub, approximately 250m away.
