The walk is a figure of eight – 6 miles in the morning via Chrishall and 5.7 in the afternoon via Strethall.

Meet in car park of The Elmdon Dial pub at Heydon Lane, Elmdon (TL 461396, CB11 4NH) at 10:00. Please park at far end of car park. From Cambridge take the M11 south, and exit at J10 (Duxford). Take A505 towards Royston for 2.5 miles, and after the pet crematorium on the left, turn left signed for Chrishall Grange. Keep on for nearly 3 miles through Chrishall Grange towards Heydon, and turn left at the top of the hill, signed for Elmdon – about a mile ahead.
