Our walk on 25 March will start from the roadside along Church Road Chevington, TL 787599;  postcode: IP29 5QH.

Take the A14 East to J40 (signed Tuddenham). Proceed south on minor roads through Barrow and Hargrave to Chevington (there are other shorter routes on minor roads via Newmarket). At the crossroads by the pub in the centre of Chevington turn left (north) into Mill Lane. After approx. 400 yards turn right into Church Road. Approximately 200 yards along Church Road, please park considerately on the left hand side.

Our Route: Chevington – Ickworth Park – Whepstead – Rede [Lunch] – Depden – Chevington: 12.5 miles [7.5 am + 5 pm]

Lunch: at the Plough, Rede. ‘Adventurous’ range of light snacks and main meal dishes but no sandwiches. Bread available with starters on request. There’s always a soup.  See attempted impression of menuboard below which changes slightly daily so pre-orders not taken).
