Start of walk and car parking: Clare Country Park, CO10 8NW. The car park fee is £3.00 per day. The car park takes cash or RINGO app but not debit/credit cards.
Take A1307 to Haverhill, Haverhill Pass, after Sturmer (at Baythorn End) take left hand turn to Clare (signposted). Follow road through Stoke by Clare to Clare. Proceed through Clare and before the shops there is a narrow right hand turn into Clare Country Park.
Mileage: 11.5 miles (7ish+4).
Lunch: Lunch will be at The Cock Inn, Clare. The pub may decide that they would like food pre-ordered. If that is the case a menu will be available in advance.
Tea at Number 5, High Street, may be open for tea and cakes at the end of the walk.
