Start of walk: From the car park at the south end of Barrow village, opposite the war memorial on the green. Brittons Road, Barrow, IP29 5AF. Grid reference 765 634 (Explorer map 210). It is easy to reach Barrow by taking the exit at junction 40 on the A14 and heading south to the far end of the village.

Car parking: As above. The car park is next to the Barrow Convenience Store, sign says Premier. If the car park is full then turn along Brittons Road to the lay by on the left or further along on turn right and park on the left. Watch out for low flying local ducks!

Mileage: 12 miles (7.5+4.5). This is a figure of eight walk.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused but the pub does not serve lunches on Mondays or Tuesdays and would like to plan ahead
