Ann W will be leading a figure of eight from the Fleur de Lys pub in Widdington, Essex, CB11 3SG  TL539317. The morning will be 6.9 miles, the afternoon 5 miles.

We have permission to use the pub car park and a special menu is being arranged for us, consisting of soup, a range of sandwiches made with special bread and two hot dishes. It has a good selection of real ale.

To reach Widdington, take the A1301 south through Great Shelford. At the Stump Cross junction with the A11 go straight over the first two roundabouts and turn right at the third. (They follow in quick succession). Follow signs to Great Chesterford and Audley End on the B1383. Drive through Littlebury, past Audley End and through Newport, then take the first road to the left, signposted Widdington. On entering Widdington, go past the road to the church on the left and the Fleur de Lys is immediately on your left.
