The walk starts at 9.30 (NOTE TIME) from the parking area on Fen Road, Cambridge next to what was the Penny Ferry (formerly the Pike and Eel). Further parking along Fen Road. Lunch at Anglesey Abbey. Own food may be eaten in the grounds. There will be time to view the winter gardens and snowdrops. National Trust members bring your cards. Non National Trust members will get discounted entry fee. Morning walk 8 miles, afternoon 6 miles.

Anyone wishing to do just the morning can get a bus back to Newmarket Road (near B&Q) and cross the river back to cars via the Green Dragon footbridge. Buses leave the Lode stop hourly at about 5 minutes past the hour.
