The walk starts from Church End, Tempsford (West side of A1) outside the Church of St Peter on the road. Map ref: OS Explorer 208, TL163531. Post Code: SG19 2AN . Distances will be 7.5miles in the morning and 5.5miles in the afternoon.

Directions: – follow A428 from Cambridge towards St Neots.  At roundabout by crane PM shop turn left towards Little Barford past power station. Continue through Little Barford to Tempsford. Pass through village edge to roundabout; turn right over A1 and then right at next roundabout onto Church Lane towards Church End. Follow to church of St Peter and park on road. (This the old A1 so is a wide road with little or no traffic – plenty of parking).
