Gillian will lead a figure of 8 walk from the Heath Sports Centre, Baldock Road, Royston, SG8 5BG.  Lunch will be at the Café which will be open for orders before the walk.  www.roystonheath.co.uk  If coming from the west end of the Royston bypass (Macdonalds roundabout), the turning to the Centre is the first on the right just past the 40mph. The car park is quite large, so we shall meet by the trellised entrance to the centre itself.

This is a muddy part of the world, and slippery, so please come prepared.  Sticks, e.g.

The morning is a Duke of York walk up to Reed, 7.75 and the afternoon a walk around Royston Heath, just over 4 miles.

Lunch will be around 12.45 therefore, so if coming for the afternoon only, please be at the Café by 1.30pm.  The menu is extensive, soup, sandwiches, mains, etc.   If you want to look it is here
