Wednesday A Figure of 8 Walk from Lilley

The Lilley Arms, West Street, Lilley, Beds, LU2 8LN.
Take A10 or A11 and A505 to Royston then A505 past Baldock to junction 9 of A1(M). Take A1 south to junction 8 (Hitchin, Stevenage North) A602. 4th exit on roundabout to Hitchin. 2.8 miles on A602 then 3rd exit on roundabout A602 Luton. In 400yds turn left onto Charlton Road along short cut to A505. Turn left along A505 and after 1.2 miles take exit for Lilley, Great Offley, Kings Walden. Go through Gt Offley (speed bumps). Turn right to Lilley and Hexton at T junction. In Lilley turn left past church on left for pub.
Park in pub car park or on road nearby. The pub will leave menu outside at the front so we can order before we leave. Toilets on the left hand side of the pub should be open.
The walk is 12.5 miles, 7am and 5.5pm with good views on Chiltern Hills.
