The walk starts from Clare Castle Country Park car park, Malting Lane, Clare CO10 8NW. The parking fee is £2.00 for the whole day. The walk, which is 8 miles in the morning and 3.5 miles in the afternoon, is an undulating walk north, east and south of Clare with distant views over the Stour Valley. Many new paths, some old favourites and some nettles!

Lunch is at The Half Moon, Beauchamp St Paul. Cafe Clare is expecting a group of us for tea after the walk.
