This 12.5 miles figure of 8 walk starts from the Ashdon Car Park, Radwinter Road, Ashdon, CB10 2EX (Explorer 209, GR 587419).

Take the A1307 towards Haverhill. After Linton turn right to Bartlow. In Bartlow turn right to Ashdon. In Ashdon, opposite the Rose & Crown pub, turn left towards Radwinter. The car park is 50yds on the right. Please park at front right side of car park. The parking fee is £2 per car, which will go to the Baptist Church.

The walk  is 8 miles in the morning and 4.5 miles in the afternoon. Lunch is at the Rose and Crown.

 

There are muddy and slippery paths so poles would be useful.
