The start of the walk and parking are at The Beautiful Ugley Chequers pub Cambridge Road, Ugley, CM22 6HZ. Park in the additional car park at the rear, furthest from the pub.
Take the B1381 south past Audley End through Newport and the pub is on the left about a mile after Quendon.
The walk is approx 11 miles with about 5.5 miles, both, in the morning and in the afternoon.
