The  walk prior to the Christmas lunch will around 6.8 miles .  Be prepared for Cambridge winter conditions!  There is one field at the start (only one) and this was crisp and dry on the recce but, although there could be some wet areas, it is mainly grassy paths with some road and pavement walking.  As you know, Christmas lunch is only for those who have booked but you may join the walk if you are not participating in the lunch.   We shall leave the Quy Mill  Hotel , Church Rd, Stow cum Quy, Cambridge CB25 9AF at 10.00 am.    You can park in the hotel car park – please be considerate as there is a Health Club there and so lots of cars in and out.      If you are not joining the walk, lunch will be approximately  1.00.
