The walk starts at Paxton Pits Nature Reserve, High Street, Little Paxton, St Neots, Cambs, PE19 6ET and follows the Ouse Valley Way.  The morning walk is north along the Ouse to the Offords and crosses the Pathfinder Way to Graveley for lunch at the Three Horse Shoes.  The afternoon returns via Little Paxton.  The Ouse Valley Way is liable to flooding and may be wet and slippery.  Doris has made herself felt, some paths by the river are restricted by fallen trees but not impassable; recovery work is in hand.  Also, there is one section of 1.5 mile on the road without a footpath which is unavoidable due to a missing walkers’ gate on the off road path.

Ample parking is available at the Nature Reserve Visitors’ Centre Car Park.  The Centre opens from 10am.
