This 12.5 mile walk departs at 10am from the Oakington stop on the Guided Busway where lunch orders can be placed.

Parking (£1) is available at Longstanton Busway P&R CB24 3DS and buses leave here at 9:35, 9:43 and 9:50 for the 3 minute journey to Oakington. NB There are no parking facilities at Oakington Busway.

Alternatively, buses leave Cambridge New Square at 9:31 arriving  Oakington  9:50 and St Ives P&R at 9:33 arriving 9:46.

The morning walk is 7.5 miles visiting Histon, Girton and Girton College grounds and returning across NIAB land to Impington and Histon Station.

Lunch will be at the Red Lion in Histon.

The afternoon walk is 5 miles, returning to Longstanton P&R via Guns Lane, Rampton Drift and Reynolds Drove.

Muddy in parts, particularly after rain, so you may consider bringing walking poles.
