The walk, which is a figure of eight, starts from Richmonds, 65 High St Linton, CB21 4HS, grid ref – 468 562.

Directions – Take the A1307 from Cambridge towards Haverhill. On reaching Linton, pass the Village College on the left and turn left down the High Street (20mph), immediately after the pedestrian traffic lights. After 1/4 mile go pass Dog & Duck pub, go over the bridge and immediately left into Symonds Lane and Richmonds. Parking (which is difficult in Linton) will be at Richmonds or  Hillway, off Symonds Lane.

The walk will be about 7 miles am via Hildersham and the Roman Road and 5.5miles pm via Hadstock.
Lunch will be at The Crown Inn, Linton and you are invited for tea and cakes after the walk at Richmonds.
