The walk will start at the car park at the top of the hill near the Church of St Peter and St Paul. There is a pub, The Cock (postcode CO10 9SA) , which is closed and ‘To Let’, on the  corner of the car park. Grid ref 915489.  Public toilets are available.  Please be there by 9.50 so lunch orders can be finalised.

The walk is approx 7.5 in the morning and 4 miles in the afternoon.

Lunch is at The Hare in Long Melford. Tea and cake will be served chez nous at the end of the walk.
