Start of walk: Toft Car Park CB23 2RJ at 10.00 a.m.

Leave Cambridge on the Barton Rd. (A603), go straight over the roundabouts to the M11/A14.  Turn right off  the A603 onto B1046 to Barton/Comberton and Toft. Follow the bend of the road round Barton Village Pond and carry on to Comberton. In Comberton stay on the main through road past the cross roads and carry on to Toft. Once you are in Toft, take the second turn on the left, which is School Lane.

As soon as you are in School Lane you will see the sign for Toft Car Park on the right. Park in Toft Car Park CB23 2RJ.

From Toft Car Park we walk on footpaths to Hardwick Wood. Coffee break will be in Hardwick Wood.

Length: 4.5 to 5 miles, depending on whether we want to walk through Toft Plantation or not.  Note: Because this is cut down from a longer walk, we have to walk a short section of the footpath, which we will walk on the way out on the way back.
