Meet at the back of Newmarket Road Park and Ride CB5 8AA, by the black metal bike-arch.  Entrance to the car park is from the A1303, north of Cambridge Airport.

The walk mostly uses cycle paths, through new developments to Stourbridge Common, then crossing the Cam into Chesterton before returning to the south bank to include Midsummer Common and Jesus Green. The whole walk is just under 5 miles, but there is a shorter version if required.
