Sunday C Walk, Moulton
July 11 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Starting at 10:00am, this 6.5 mile walk is the Three Churches Circular Walk incorporating the churches at Dalham, Gazeley, and Moulton. Please note that there are 3 stiles on the route which is a little longer than most ‘C’ walks. Footpaths are generally good but some of the paths through woodland may be muddy following wet weather.
There is a limit of 12 places so please phone Chris and Sally to book ahead on 01353 658228, giving your name and mobile or landline number for ‘test and trace’.
Details: Starting point: Catford Bridge Grid Reference TL 712 629 on OS Explorer map 210.
Directions from Cambridge: Take the A1303 road towards Newmarket. At the ‘prancing horse’ roundabout take the A1304 to Newmarket. Go along the High Street to the Clock Tower roundabout then turn right (3 rd exit) and immediately afterwards bear left to follow the road over Warren Hill to Moulton. At the junction in Moulton turn right. Go through the village and follow the road for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto a minor road signposted Gazeley and after 0.3 miles turn off left into a parking area immediately opposite the imposing entrance gates to Dalham Hall.
Mobile on the day 07718124166.
Additional Information: In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details. Please phone the leader if you plan to come and remember to give your name and phone number. Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30. No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill.
Please make sure that you bring with you a face-covering hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines we are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
More details relating to taking part in and leading Club walks in a ‘Covid-19’ environment are posted on the CRC website, under ‘Members’.
