Drive out of Cambridge on the A1307 road.  Turn right opposite the Gog Farm Shop onto Haverhill Road, and shortly after left into the Magog Down car park.  The nearest postcode to the entrance is CB22 5FX, Grid Reference TL48628 53190 (Google gives an incorrect postcode).  There is a £3 parking charge which can be paid by card or cash.

We’ll walk around Magog Down and follow paths through open country up to the exit where we cross the A1307 to enter Wandlebury.  There we will walk along open and wooded paths, with a coffee stop near the lake.  The walk is about 4.5 miles:  if necessary Dieter could lead those who wish to walk faster and further, with Penny leading a more leisurely version which could be shortened.
