Sunday C walk, Linton and Hadstock

June 13, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

There is a limit of 12 places (including the leader), so please call to book on 01223 891645 or 07856875242 after 5pm if possible (outside working hours).

The walk is approximately 5 miles.  Meet at Linton Health Centre car park, Coles Lane, at 10am CB21 4JS.  To get to Linton, take the A1307 southbound from Cambridge past the Abingtons and Hildersham. Turn left off the main road into Linton High Street (opposite the mustard-coloured house on the A1307) and drive until you get to the No Entry sign, where you bear left onto Coles Lane then take a righthand turn into the Health Centre.

We will walk through the village, cross the A1307 at the pedestrian crossing and head up towards the pretty village of Hadstock from which there are good views of Linton and its water tower.  There are two stiles.

Additional Information:

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details.  Please phone the leader if you plan to come and remember to give your name and phone number.  Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted.  The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.  No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill.

Please make sure that you bring with you a face-covering hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households.  In line with government guidelines we are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.

More details relating to taking part in and leading Club walks in a ‘Covid-19’ environment are posted on the CRC website, under ‘Members’.
