The walk is 5 miles, with some road walking.  We leave from the car park of the Old Ferry Boat Inn, Holywell Front, Holywell PE27 4TG, at 10.00.  (The Inn has said that we can use their car park provided we buy a drink after the walk. Alternatively there is some parking along the nearby grassy waterfront).  Leaving Holywell, we walk to St Ives along the banks of the River Ouse and past the town’s substantial quarrying industry.  Coffee will be by the historic and beautiful St Ives waterfront.  Then we’ll we make our way through parks and houses and onto a grassy track leading past quiet lakes back to Holywell.  If any queries, please contact Gordon Leigh on 01223 840995
