Drive out of Cambridge along the A603, past Wimpole Hall and the A1198; then take first right signed towards Croydon, Hatley and Gamlingay.  Drive through East Hatley and Hatley St George, past church and parkland on left.  There is a left bend in the road with Newlands Cottages and Buildings on the right, with a hard standing in front where you can park (Grid Ref: TL269515).    Please share cars if possible.  The walk starts at 10.00am.  After a short stretch along the road and field verges, the walk is along well-marked paths (very little mud if it rains).  It’s about 5 miles, with coffee stop at the beautiful church in Cockayne Hatley.  If any queries or a lift needed, please phone Dieter or me on 01223-527763; or on Sunday from 9am on 07443 429865.
