Note: Change to start time:  This walk will start at 9.30 a.m, so please arrive at the meeting point at 9.15. It is approximately 4.6 miles long and will start and finish at the Barton Road car park CB7 4HZ, where there are toilets. The route takes us on both sides of the River Ouse with continuingly changing views of the Cathedral. There are no stiles however we cross the river on a footbridge with quite steep but not difficult steps. We hope you’ll join us for a cup of tea and perhaps a muffin in our garden before returning to Barton Road. You might like to take the opportunity after the walk to visit the 13 metre long bog oak table in the Cathedral as there’s no entrance charge on a Sunday.

Directions from Cambridge: From Milton follow the A10 towards Ely and at the first roundabout approaching Ely take the right hand (straight ahead) lane and take the 2^nd exit onto Cambridge Road. After about 3/4 mile turn right into Barton Road just before a zebra crossing. Follow Barton Road and after 1/4 mile turn left into the Long Stay car park We will meet up by the toilets.

Additional information: Covid-19 is resurging and we must be very careful. Please do not join the walk if you have any symptoms, such as a headache, a strong feeling of tiredness, a sore throat or a cough. In fact it is probably best not to join us if you feel at all unwell.
