Starting at 10.00 am, this circular walk of about 5.5 miles begins from the car park of Cambridge Country Club (formerly Bourn Golf Club) Toft Road, Bourn, CB23 2TT (OS Explorer 209 and 208). The Club has given us permission to park in their car park. Please turn right as you enter the car park so that we are all parked as far away from the club house as possible.

From the Club, we will take a footpath round the exterior of the golf course to Bourn village. We then walk along Caxton End Lane, turn left onto a footpath which takes us up to a very large field. The path is quite muddy in some places but then improves to a grassy track. We continue round the field to Riddy Lane and back into Bourn, up past the church, through more fields and then back to Toft Road and the Club. There is a possible short cut from the church straight back to the club.  As there is mud in places, boots and walking sticks are in order
