Very sadly, Penny has had to cancel her walk on Sunday (26^th June) as Dieter has tested positive for Covid. This has happened today (Friday), so, at the very last minute I am organising a substitute walk.

The walk starts from Linton Health Centre Coles Lane, Linton, CB21 4JS at 10am.  Please phone Barbara on 01223 890194 or phone or text 07954 402337, or email me with your name and phone number if you wish to join the walk.

The journey from Cambridge is about 9 miles and takes 30 to 35 minutes.  Drive out along the A1307 past Addenbrookes, then continue straight along the road, crossing the A11, past Great Abington and Hildersham. At the traffic lights in Linton, turn left into the High Street. At the bottom of this road, bear right and then follow the one-way system round to the left into Coles Lane. Drive into the Health Centre car park, and park in the lower general parking area.

The walk is along well-marked paths with views across the countryside. There is quite a sharp descent at the end of the walk.  Coffee break will be on the Roman Road. There is a lovely café in the High Street, the Linton Deli, with some outside seating which some may wish to sample at the end of the walk.

Covid-19 is resurging and we must be very careful. Please do not join the walk if you have any symptoms, such as a headache, a strong feeling of tiredness, a sore throat or a cough. In fact it is probably best not to join us if you feel at all unwell.
