Take the M11 then at junction 13 take the A1303 exit . Continue onto Madingley Road then at the roundabout take 2nd exit onto Cambridge Road A428. From A428 turn left onto B1040. Turn left onto Meadow Road B1046 then turn right down Little Grandsen Lane and park near to the pink cottage called Jakins.

We will be walking from Great Grandsen through or around Waresley woods to the garden centre at Waresley where we propose a half an hour stop for coffee and scones then back. The woods are closed at the moment so if we cannot go through the woods the walk will be 5 miles and if we can access the woods and hopefully see lots of bluebells the walk will be around 5 and a half miles.  Most of the walk is on firm ground but it can be muddy on the trails through the woods.  If any queries, please phone Sheila on 07907 037047.
