Norman will lead a walk from Wood Walton (or Woodwalton!), approx 10.5 miles, 6.0 miles am, 4.5 miles pm.   Start 10.00am: The Green, Wood Walton, TL215808, Explorer 227. Route: Take A14 north and before reaching the A1 take the Alconbury junction, cross back over the A14 and turn left at roundabout running parallel to it on the B1043. After approx a mile take right turn past Monk’s Wood Research Station then turn left and soon right under the railway bridge. Please park considerately by The Green or in the Village Hall car park 200 yds away on Raveley Road. Walk: Circular via Upwood. There is one overgrown section so bring some overtrousers or risk wet/scratched legs!
