Sunday B Walk from Willingham

Willingham to Barleycroft Lake and Ouse Fen

Willingham road side parking, West Fen Road, Willingham, CB24 5LP
Join A14, heading towards Huntingdon. Leave A14 at Bar Hill heading towards Earith. Follow signs to Earith and Willingham past Longstanton until you reach Willingham. Go straight across traffic lights in Willingham (passing The Porterhouse pub on your right). Go through Willingham, passing the Co-op on the left. As the road bends to the right, take the left turn (at playground sign and sign to Ploughman Hall) into West Fen Road. Park on left near the Sports Pavilion. Postcode for the Ploughman Hall is CB24 5LP.
The walk will be 10 miles; 7 in the morning and 3 after lunch. Coffee will be at the RSPB Barleycroft Lake and lunch at the new RSPB Ouse Fen reserve near Earith. Please bring all refreshments for the day.

Additional information
In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details. Please text or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of your text! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.
No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
