Sunday B Walk from Waterbeach to Anglesey Abbey
October 24 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Waterbeach street parking, Greenside, Waterbeach, CB25 9HP
From Cambridge take the A10 north past Milton and take the first turning to Waterbeach, Car Dyke Road, on the right. Follow this road, which becomes Cambridge Road and then Chapel Street, until you reach the village green on your left. Park on the green at Waterbeach TL495 653.
Let me know if you plan to arrive by train and what time it arrives, so we can collect you as we pass the station.
The walk is 11 miles, with lunch at Anglesey Abbey. Toilets will be available outside the entrance. Non members can now access the café so please bring money if you wish to purchase food and/or drinks. Please bring packed lunch if you do not wish to have lunch in the cafe. There is one path near the end of the walk, which usually has a lot of nettles.
Please text me in advance if you want to book a place. My mobile number for contacting me is 07982 453713.

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details. Please text or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of your text! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.
No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
More details relating to taking part in and leading Club walks in a ‘Covid-19’ environment are posted on the CRC website, under ‘Members’.
