Waterbeach to Ely (walking from Ely back to Waterbeach)

Arrive at Waterbeach Station car park, Station Road, Waterbeach, CB5 9HT in good time and purchase car parking ticket £2.20 from Pay and Display machine on platform.  It is possible to park in the village and walk down.  Meet by platform 2 meeting point and buy train ticket to Ely £3.60 (or £2.35 if have railcard) from machine.  Machine takes cash or cards.  Train departs Waterbeach at 10.12 arriving Ely 10.21.  There are toilets on the platform at Ely Station.  Anyone wishing to join the walk at Ely please meet at front of station at 10.21.

Walk is a linear walk, often close to the river, stopping at the Five Miles from Anywhere Pub at Upware which serves soup and sandwiches etc or bring own.  It is 11.5 miles, 6.75 am and 4.75pm.
