Sunday B Walk from Swavesey

Start of walk: 10.00 am at Market Street, Swavesey, CB24 4QG

Parking: Market Street, Swavesey. If approaching from the Swavesey exit off the A14 (junction 24B), follow the road into Swavesey – go past the Primary School. Take the next right-hand turn into Market Street.

Size of group: the maximum allowed is 30

Mileage: 11.5

Lunch: packed lunch plus all other refreshments for the day

General walk info: the walk is 6 miles in the morning exploring the RSPB Fen Drayton Lakes followed by 5.5 miles after lunch along the River Ouse.

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with their contact details.

The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.

No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
