Sunday B Walk from St Ives Park & Ride

Start Park and Ride Car park in St Ives (no charge), Meadow Lane, PE27 4LG at 10.00.
At junction 24b (Swavesey/St Ives exit) of the A14 west from Cambridge, exit onto old A14 following signs for St Ives and take A1096 to St lves. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A1096, keeping straight on at traffic lights for guided bus crossing. At next roundabout take 3rd exit into Meadow Lane. The Park and Ride car park is off Meadow Lane on the right. Meet at the back of the bus shelter.
It is possible to travel to the start on the guided bus.
Booking is essential.
The walk goes through the Hemingfords onto Godmanchester, continuing through the nature reserve and back through Houghton. Bring packed lunch and all refreshments.

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details. Please phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name and phone number. Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.
No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
