At junction 24b (Swavesey/St Ives exit) of the A14 west from Cambridge, exit onto old A14 following signs for St Ives and take A1096 to St lves.  At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A1096, keeping straight on at traffic lights for guided bus crossing.  At next roundabout take 3^rd exit into Meadow Lane.  The Park and Ride car park is off Meadow Lane on the right.  Meet at the back of the bus shelter.

It is possible to travel to the start on the guided bus.

The walk goes through the Hemingfords onto Godmanchester, continuing through the nature reserve and back through Houghton.  Bring packed lunch and all refreshments.
