Travelling from Cambridge towards Wimpole on the A603, turn left for Orwell. Pass the church on your left and continue straight along High Street. The car park is on the left, signed from the road but hidden up a lane just before no 27, opposite no 32 (thatched lychgate). If you pass the village hall on your right you have gone too far and need to turn back.

We will walk through the Wimpole estate and the Eversdens to Harlton and then up through the Harlton clunch pit and down to Orwell . Morning about 5 miles, afternoon about 4-5 miles; there are longer and shorter afternoon options depending on our preference on the day. Some lovely views and contrasting woodland. Please bring all refreshments for the day.
