Explorer 225, parking at TL365 639, High Street, Lolworth, CB3 8HL

Take the A14 west from Cambridge and leave at the Bar Hill exit.  Cross over the A14 heading for Longstanton then turn right at the traffic lights following signs for Lolworth.  Turn right again at the 2^nd traffic lights (sign for Lolworth and Swavesey) onto A1307.

Alternatively take A1307 Huntingdon Road out of Cambridge and follow road until you come to the sign for Swavesey and Lolworth.  Go straight on.

For both routes turn right off A1307 signposted Lolworth and follow road over A14 into Lolworth.  At cross roads in Lolworth keep straight on into High Street.  Pass most of the houses and park in the layby on left or on short grass verges before or after layby without obstructing any drives or gates.

The walk passes through Boxworth, Conington, Elsworth, Knapwell and Childerley and will be mostly on good paths and tracks with only 2 stiles and no cross-field paths.  Bring packed lunch and all refreshments for the day.  Start time 10 0’clock.  Walk length 11 miles (6 am/5 pm).
