Sunday B Walk from Little Gransden Village Hall Car Park

Little Gransden to Hayley Wood & Waresley Wood
Little Gransden Village Hall Car Park, Primrose Hill, Little Gransden, Cambs SG19 3DP
The walk is a figure of eight – just over 7 miles a.m. to Hayley Wood and about 3 miles p.m. to Waresley Wood. There should still be a good display of bluebells. We start at 10.00, from Little Gransden Village Hall car park, TL273554
Take the A 428 from Cambridge (Madingley Rd.). Go straight over the Caxton Gibbet roundabout (junction with the A1198), then take the B1040, the 2nd turning on the left. Take the 3rd turning left off this to The Gransdens. In Great Gransden take the left fork at the triangular green, towards Little Gransden and follow the main road. Parking is at the Village Hall: turn left opposite The Chequers pub into Primrose Hill and the village hall is about a further 200m on the left.
Lunch is at The Chequers Pub, Little Gransden, which has its own microbrewery and we can eat our own food inside, providing everyone buys a drink. There will be a beer festival at the Chequers on the day.
