Take the A1307 from Cambridge to Linton.  Turn left into the High Street just after the pedestrian crossing lights.  Go over the river and up the hill past the paper shop.  Turn left into Coles Lane.  The Health Centre car park is the first turn on the right.  Meet there for a ten o’clock departure.

The route takes in the bluebell wood on Rivey Hill, then down to the valley to follow the river along to Hildersham for coffee or a cold drink, then up to the Roman Road, discover the secret lake where we will eat our picnics then follow the Roman Road westward to circle round to a return to Linton.  Approx. 11 miles.

At the end all are welcome to visit Rosie’s garden which was open last weekend under the National Garden Scheme.
